Firefox quick find
  [view.all]
[edit.2008.06.17]
[post.new]

I got my new macbook yesterday.

It's the new macbook with the 150GB drive & 3GB memory...

I love this thing. The pictures from here were taken from the new macbook.

I noticed that the keyboard has changed slightly. The volume control keys have been moved to F10, 11, 12. There are new keys for, i'm guessing itunes that do the play/pause, next, prev functions.

There are two more new keys. One that shows "All Windows" (which i used a hot corner for previously) and a key for "Dashboard". I'm sure all these changes will just take some getting used to.

What I found annoying finally was that the "quick find" in firefox combined with the new changes to the keyboard made the F3/Fn+F3 "find next" feature disappear.

To fix this, I opened Terminal

cd ~//Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/elx57be2.default/chrome
cp userChrome-example.css userChrome.css

edit userChrome.css and add the line

#FindToolbar > * {display: -moz-box; }

restart firefox and try the quick find feature again. You'll see the next, prev, etc. buttons.

enjoy.
